There are many options for women looking to take women's self defense classes in Connecticut. Classes are available at YWCA's and Community colleges. Plus One Defense Systems also offers classes for many styles in martial arts. A class in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for women is also offered.

YWCA's

The YWCA is a partner with a local centre to offer women's self defence classes. For example, classes are offered by the Modern Self Defense Center at the YWCA Greenwich. These classes offer women a chance to improve their self-esteem, learn how to use their body defense techniques and stay safe from violent attacks.
